me faire tatouer me démange furieusement depuis un petit moment. Plusieurs années,
 à dire vrai. L’envie est telle que je crois bien… que je vais attendre. Ah ! Avouez que vous ne vous attendiez pas à cette entrée en matière… !
J’explique. Depuis quelques mois, on n’entend plus parler que de lui : le tatouage. Le tatouage par-ci, le tatouage par-là. Et vas-y que je consacre un énième article à ce sujet, une énième série photos au best of des tatouages de la planète, un énième board sur Pinterest (je SAIS, j’en ai moi-même un dédié au tatouage). Tant est si bien que tout cela finit par m’ennuyer. Peut être même m’affliger, au moins un peu.
Attention, hein, ne me faites pas dire ce que je n’ai pas pensé : chacun fait bien, c’qui lui plait plait plait. Je n’ai absolument aucun problème avec les suiveurs. J’en suis une, de suiveuse, à maints égards. Et je suis loin, très loin de m’estimer au-dessus d’une supposée masse. Simplement, tel que je le conçois, le tatouage est intimement lié à une personnalité. A une étape de sa vie. Tel que je le veux encré dans ma peau, je veux qu’il ait une signification, un sens que moi seule édicterait, au-delà de l’esthétique de la chose. Se marquer est un acte bien trop important pour qu’aucune « mode » ne s’en empare. Ou pour qu’une telle démarche ne finisse par être in fine d’un conformisme à faire froid dans le dos.
Voilà pourquoi j’attendrai que cet engouement autour du tatouage passe pour me faire tatouer. J’attendrai que le tatouage soit bien has been et qu’il ne soit plus que l’apanage de quelque ringard avant de sauter le pas.

C’est exactement ce que je me suis dit aussi… Je souhaite me graver un certain message dans la peau depuis un moment déjà, mais le simple fait que tout le monde s’y mette m’a donné envie d’attendre un peu que la mode passe. Surtout que l’endroit où j’ai toujours souhaité l’y graver… est un endroit tellement à la mode pour les tatouages en ce moment… que non!

Étant moi-même tatouée, je ne peux pas adhérer à ton point de vue. Cependant je le comprends, car c’est vrai que le tatouage est devenu très courant de nos jours. Mais tu sais, je pense qu’il fait partie d’une mode depuis bien plus longtemps. Déjà dans les années 90, je me souviens que tout le monde autour de moi parlait de ça, et pourtant j’étais petite, alors j’imagine que dans les années 80 ce devait être pareil. Si on a vraiment envie de le faire, je ne vois pas pourquoi on s’en priverait. Même si le mouvement en lui-même est courant, chacun est unique. On ne porte pas un tatouage de la même façon que tout le monde, on ne lui donne pas la même signification, on ne le fait pas pour les mêmes raisons, etc… Après j’avoue que certains tatouages sont vraiment redondants, mais bon tant pis. Je n’attends qu’une chose, c’est de m’en faire faire d’autres ! :p
